The CUHK Graduate School was established in 1966 and was the first of its kind in Hong Kong. There are currently over 15,000 postgraduate students at CUHK, a substantial proportion of whom are non-local students coming from over 50 different countries/regions from all over the world. In the 2024-25 academic year, the Graduate School offers over 220 postgraduate programmes through 60 Graduate Divisions leading to higher degrees, postgraduate diplomas and certificates.
